The route “Tratturello Regio- Necropoli San Magno” follows a section of the “tratturello” Canosa- Ruvo which is partly asphalted and partly not and passes through the “dei Fenicia” woods. Turkey oak is mostly prevalent along the northern margins of the Alta Murgia National Park, on the slopes facing the Adriatic sea, at an altitude of approximately 300 to 500 metres above sea level. The route continues to the junction with the S.P. 238, crossing a rural environment characterised by orchards and cereal agriculture. The road is initially unmade, but becomes asphalted further on. Near to the Masseria Fiore the route joins the main road to San Magno, continuing past the Piscina Antica San Magno towards the late Bronze Age necropolis.
